Road to the Future – Metal Powder Injection Technology (MIM)

The Experteam team has always been involved in implementing plastic products into mass production. We usually work on projects related to the construction of products and the construction of injection molds, using supporting technologies. Our services are used by the household appliances, medical, automotive, agricultural and other sectors.

We have implemented new technologies into projects many times, but the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) Technology, which we have been dealing with since 2015, is still a discovery on the Polish market.

Just outside our border, mass production of products from metal powders is already underway, while the Polish industry is only just opening up to it.

The significant pressure on technological progress in industries such as telemedicine (home medicine), automotive, aviation, arms and space industries determine investors to look for production solutions that ensure less waste in metal processing, faster production, or the efficient possibility of obtaining complex shapes for the manufactured products.

Printing using SLS technology has captured the market of small production series, but how to cope with mass production?
